Remembrance

Our country is facing mournful times. An inestimable, catastrophic hurricane has drowned a beloved city, and a remarkable, transforming and intellectual patriot has died, Former Chief Justice William Rehnquist.

To those who have lost their lives in New Orleans, we mourn their loss. We pray for their souls and we remember them as we work together to reconstruct their beloved city.

To those who struggle on in the waters of New Orleans, we stand ready to assist you, with our hearts, strength and perseverance. New Orleans will rise above the vicious waters that now engulf it.

To Former Chief Justice William Rehnquist, may God be with you; America mourns your loss. Your vision and leadership over the last 33 years will not be forgotten. America thanks you, will miss you, and will never forget you. God bless.
